Classes I'm taking

Even though it is late to tell, I'm gonna explain class schedule I'm taking.
(Why "it is late"? -because, classes are reaching almost end. 3 weeks later, all these classes will be over.)

• Monday- Piano lesson, Music history and ensemble(1)
• Tuesday- Harmonics, voice lesson, Psychology, English(1), Saxophone lesson, and Fundamental class for musician(*)
• Wednesday- English(2), Phonetic(*), and Ensemble(2)
• Thursday- Economics, Introduction of the performing arts, and Solfeggio
• Friday- Ensemble(3)

(*)--- only first term
and now, we're in second term.


Now I'm taking 3 ensemble classes.
In this class, all saxophone students(but only freshman!) have been playing together. 26 saxophone students!
Each class has different teacher and different pieces.
In the class, I've been playing Sopranino to Baritone. Some friends have been playing Bass saxophone.

Now I'm playing soprano in Monday class, playing Alto in Wednesday and Friday class too.


Introduction of the performing arts?
This class, teacher selects some videos and DVDs and students watch these stuff and know introduction of performing arts such as musical, vallet, Nou(Japanese traditional performing arts), Kabuki and so on...
It's interesting because some of these movies are not for sell.
Just watch the movies,,, sounds boring? ...hahaha, let's take a guess what I'm thinking...(-v-;)
But through this class, I could know about Japanese traditional arts. So it was good for me!


I was interested in Phonetic class and it was so good!
In this class, we learned how we can make voice and how we are making different voices between speaking, singing and whisper.
I thought I'm curious to research...! Research what?? Guess whaaaat??



Well, now I'm taking almost music stuff.
It is close to another university and another country?

Maybe I guess it is common classes in music university in Japan.
We can take general education subject, however almost students don't.

Also, students who are taking teacher-training course, have more classes.
So they are really busy than me.

学校のこと書いてないって言ってましたけど、そういえばどういう授業とってるのかすら書いてなかったですね。

ということで、今更ではありますが、1年目の時間割はこんなかんじなんです。
1時限目は8:40から始まる鬼畜タイムスケジュール。で、6限目まで。

一部、前期のみの科目もあります。

あ、横が曜日。
縦が時限。
なので、月曜日には西洋音楽史、合奏があるということです。

あと抜けてしまってますが、月曜に副科ピアノ(30分)、
火曜に声楽(30分)、サックス(1時間)のレッスンがあります。



一部前期のみの科目ありますが(音楽人基礎ていう一番「？」とおもわれるやつと、音声学)、
大体は通年科目。


合奏が3つありますが(紫の)、それぞれ違う先生が指導してくれてまして、それぞれでやってる曲や楽器なんかも違ってきます。
曲ごとでパートが変わりまして、私はここでソプラニーノからバリトンまで経験させてもらえました。
人によってはバスまでやる人もいます。結構端から端まで、ですね。笑


その一番「？」と思われるであろう、音楽人基礎というのは、
演奏家としてある前に社会人としていかに心構えをするべきか、またどう振る舞うべきかみたいなのをレクチャーするもの。
試みとしては面白い授業でしたが、なんか一方的な感じだったのが残念だったような・・・
まああの人数いたら仕方がないでしょう。これは前期だけ。


舞台芸術概論は、実際に演出家として活躍されていた(されている)先生がいろんなDVDとか見せてくれる授業で、
この授業で歌舞伎の成り立ちであるとか、それから宝塚の舞台裏なんかも見たり、能の公演が行われるまで、のドキュメンタリーみたいなのを見せてもらったり。
先生自身はそんなに話しませんが、いろいろ見せてもらえるので(絶版モノの映像とか)、面白いです。


こうして見てみると、結構音楽ばっかですね。

音声学(これも前期だけ)の授業とか受けてみて、実は何かを研究することとか、知らないものを自分で実験して知っていくみたいなのって面白いなって思いました。

ただ、他に普通の授業も受けたいなあとか・・・
学校そのものがそんなに大きいわけではないですし、学校の性質上どうしてもそんなにクラスが用意出来るわけではないので・・・

って思ってたら、2年から、とりあえず他の大学での提携授業みたいなのがあるみたいで。単位互換的な???
他にも、教職を取ってる生徒はもっと時間割激しかったりします。


浪人生の時、音大生ってどんな授業とってるのかなーと疑問だったので、そのむかしの自分の疑問にこたえてみました。
